Artificial Intelligence & Data Science

The Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (B.Tech. AD) is an undergraduate degree focusing on the intersection of AI and data science. It aims to equip students with a solid foundation in AI and DS technologies, as well as the necessary programming, statistical, and mathematical skills to create intelligent, data-driven solutions for real-world problems.

The B.Tech. AD curriculum typically includes core courses in areas such as machine learning, data mining, data visualization, big data analytics, statistical analysis, natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning. Students also study programming, databases, data structures, algorithms, mathematics, probability, and statistics to grasp the fundamental concepts of AI and DS.

The program emphasizes practical, hands-on experience through lab sessions, projects, internships, and real-world case studies, allowing students to apply AI and DS concepts in practical settings. Students work with real-world datasets, develop AI/ML models, analyze large datasets, and become proficient in popular programming languages and tools used in the field, such as Python, R, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Tableau.

Upon graduation, B.Tech. AD students can pursue various career opportunities in AI development, data science, machine learning engineering, data analytics, business intelligence, and other AI and DS-related roles in industries such as technology, finance, healthcare, and e-commerce. They may work as AI engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, data analysts, or continue with higher education, such as Master's or Ph.D. programs, to further specialize or conduct research in AI, DS, or related fields.
